Welcome to Captain's Bungalow

The Captain’s Bungalow is nestled in ancient woods with picturesque views from all Bungalow rooms and cottages, overlooking the valley and the hills. It is a working organic plantation with crops of coffee, pepper, cardamom, areca and palm betel nut amidst lush rolling hills. We encourage you to take long walks or short treks in the mornings and evenings, soak in the great views and ambiance of the place. This is a place for those who enjoy silence, nature, birds and wildlife. This is not a place for loud music or sales conferences. We want you to spend time in the veranda, gazing into the clear skies, the valley and mountain tops or sit on the deck enjoying the clouds, the mist, the sunrise, sunset and glorious moon lit nights. We want you to read, take walks or sit around the campfire under starlit nights and share your stories with your friends, family and loved ones. This is not a place to spend time watching television or be hooked to the cell phone and Internet and complain about bad internet connection. We try and discourage that. This is a place to contemplate, let your hair down, put your legs up, dream and rediscover that there is pleasure in slowness and bond with your family and friends relearning the art of gentle conversation.
